ASTOR has been awarded the winner of the second edition of the Best Managed Companies Poland program for private companies, organized by the Deloitte consulting company. Thus, it was included in the global community of Best Managed Companies. This honorable title is the result of an audit executed by Deloitte experts and the decisions of the jurors who analyzed the program participants, among others: in terms of strategy, organizational culture, finances and approach to innovation. The summary of the second edition of the event was a full-day seminar and an evening gala attended by jury members, winners and guests – representatives of the largest private companies in Poland.

We took part in the Best Managed Companies competition organized by Deloitte for the first time in the history of our company. Achieving record revenue of PLN 150 million last year and our strategic approach to management and innovation attracted the attention of experts. We very rarely take part in competitions and plebiscites – we act out of the belief that the actions we take make deep sense – they develop both people and the company. Best Managed Companies is an initiative created 30 years ago by the Canadian branch of Deloitte Private, which currently takes place in many countries around the world. As part of this program, thousands of private companies take part in the annual plebiscite. They are subject to a thorough assessment process, where their skills, processes and strategies are analyzed and compared to the best management.

The winners of the plebiscite are selected by an independent jury, and the entire process is transparent and objective, thanks to the proven Deloitte system operating on a global scale. This year’s edition of Best Managed Companies Poland confirmed our belief that this initiative is a real added value for Polish entrepreneurs. The ability to verify such key issues as strategy, resources or finances turns out to be an invaluable experience, especially in more difficult economic times. The growing number of participants is clear proof.
