Astraada One Compact are compact PLCs - powerful and real-time devices. Through implemented communication protocols, including EtherCAT and BACnet (optional), they are dedicated to, but not only, the machine and building automation markets. With fast operation, built-in inputs and outputs and extensive programming capabilities, they meet many user requirements. Each compact controller has a built-in Web Server.
Programming Astraada One Compact controllers
The compatible development environment for Astraada One Compact controllers is CODESYS V3. The wide range of functionalities of this software and its high intuitiveness allow rapid implementation of applications based on Astraada One Compact controllers.
Both program logic and visualisation are implemented directly in the controller. Dedicated HMI terminals connect via Ethernet to the PLC and display the prepared application using VNC technology. In addition, mobile devices can be used to display the visualisation, or HMI terminals can be dispensed with altogether in favour of laptops, smartphones or tablets. Such a solution lowers the total investment cost and gives the possibility to control from anywhere in the world from any web browser supporting HTML5.
RWD in Astraada One Compact controllers
One of the most important features of Astraada One is the support of Responsive Web Design technology. It allows you to create an application that is perfectly adapted to the screens of mobile devices. Thanks to RWD, it is possible to create several versions of visualisations that will look and function very well on a 21" monitor, a 10" tablet and a 5" smartphone.
